By accessing and using Hei Platform ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Hei Platform is a marketplace that connects homeowners with verified door-to-door service representatives. The Platform provides:

• Service rep profiles and contact information
• Search and filtering capabilities
• Business credential verification services
• Communication tools between customers and reps
• Review and rating system

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Service Representatives

4.1 Rep Registration

Service representatives must provide accurate information about their services, qualifications, and business details. Reps are responsible for maintaining current and accurate profile information.

4.2 Verification Services

Hei Platform offers verification services that include:

• Business Credentials Verification: Professional licenses, certifications, insurance documentation, business registration, and professional references
• Contact Information Verification: Email address confirmation, phone number verification, address validation, and social media presence verification
• Identity Verification: Basic identity confirmation through contact information validation (no government ID collection)

Important: Our verification process does NOT include criminal background checks, government ID collection, or comprehensive background screening. Verification is limited to business credentials and contact information validation.

4.3 Rep Responsibilities

Service representatives are responsible for:

• Providing accurate service descriptions and pricing
• Maintaining appropriate licenses and insurance
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
• Providing quality services as described
• Respecting customer privacy and property
• Maintaining current and accurate business information

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

• Providing accurate contact information
• Being present for scheduled appointments
• Providing clear service requirements
• Treating service representatives with respect
• Paying for services as agreed with the rep
• Conducting their own due diligence when selecting service providers

6. Payment and Fees

6.1 Verification Fees

Service representatives may choose to pay for verification services at $10/month or $100/year. These fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

6.2 Service Payments

Payments for services are made directly between customers and service representatives. Hei Platform is not responsible for payment disputes or service quality issues.

7. Verification and Trust

7.1 Verification Process

Our verification process includes:

• Review of business credentials and documentation
• Contact information validation
• Professional reference checks
• Social media presence verification

7.2 Verification Limitations

Our verification process has the following limitations:

• We do not conduct criminal background checks
• We do not collect or verify government-issued identification
• We do not guarantee the quality or safety of services provided
• Verification is based on information provided by the service representative
• Customers should conduct their own due diligence

7.3 Trust and Safety

While we strive to verify service representatives, we cannot guarantee:

• The quality or safety of services provided
• The accuracy of all information provided by reps
• The outcome of any service transaction
• Protection against fraud or misconduct

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Provide false or misleading information
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
• Use automated systems to access the Platform
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Misrepresent verification status or credentials

9. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Hei Platform and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Platform.

11. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. HEI PLATFORM DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Hei Platform does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by representatives. We are not responsible for disputes between customers and service representatives.

Verification Disclaimer: Our verification process is limited to business credentials and contact information validation. We do not conduct background checks, criminal history searches, or comprehensive screening. Customers should conduct their own due diligence when selecting service providers.

12. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL HEI PLATFORM BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Hei Platform's total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for verification services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Hei Platform from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from your use of the Platform.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hei Platform operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
